What is it?

The Standard Form of the Equation of a Line describes a comparision between two items under a single constraint.

The letters A, B and C are place holders for any real number.

If A = 0 then the equation describes a Horizontal Line, By = C

If B = 0 then the equation describes a Vertical Line, Ax = C
